2012 GEC

Unleashing the will to win

The Global Entrepreneurship Congress is the largest gathering of start-up champions from around the world. Coming to Britain for the first time, the Congress is a unique opportunity to meet and network with some of the most successful and innovative entrepreneurs.

Smaller Earth is proud to be involved in the 2012 GEC to be held in Liverpool from 9 - 16 March 2012. Smaller Earth's Your Big Year is an official fringe event of the GEC, and this year you can attend one of the final challenges for our top 16 competitors

On Monday, March 12th, finalists will be competing in a secret challenge at Liverpool John Moores University that will be filmed for TV. We need inspiring individuals to attend the challenge, meet our finalists and form an audience for the challenges. All of our finalists are entrepreneurs in their home country, so this will give you a great insight into attitudes and cultures of entreneurship around the world. There is no fee to attend, but places are limited, so if you would like to reserve a spot, please email gec2012@smallerearth.com

Attendees of the GEC will hear from a fantastic line-up of some of the world’s best business minds, including:

  • Sir Richard Branson

  • Sir Terry Leahy

  • Martha Lane Fox

  • Lord Heseltine

It’s about unleashing potential and the will to win, inspiring people to realise their ambitions and exciting them to make it now.

If you want to attend the 2012 GEC, as an official Fringe Event host, Smaller Earth can offer 20% discount on tickets to the main event on Tuesday, March 13th. Reserve your place at the GEC website and enter the code JMFE020.
